My passion these days is... running!. I knew some people from work who ran a marathon or
were training for one. I had heard a lot about the marathon distance, and how it evolved into a metaphor for any long and
arduous task. Since running is a good exercise and I wanted to keep my tummy in check, I thought maybe I can try to run one
myself. I never knew that that decision would turn out to be such a great decision it would get me back in shape, improve
my general breathing and strengthen my heart, and make me raise more than one lakh rupees for the education of underprivileged
children in India. I started training solo, and was able to do up to 10 miles at a stretch. Then someone referred me to The
Asha Harbinger's of Hope Marathon Training Program.
